SparkTricity   Health and Safety policy Statement 

SparkTricity is totally committed to the promotion of Health & Safety. As a company we shall always strive to provide, as far as is reasonably practicable, the necessary leadership and resources required to maintain and promote health and safety. 

SparkTricity recognises that Health & Safety is a business function and must, therefore, continually progress and change. Our approach to Health and safety is based upon the Planning, identification and control of risks. SparkTricity believes and strives to implement a constantly improving Health & Safety standard and actively monitors performance. To this end we will always endeavour to ensure that all relevant statutes, regulations and Codes of Practice are complied with. 

The minimum standards that will be adopted by the company are those mandatory by law, although our company shall always seek to surpass these where there is a demonstrable benefit. The company recognises that safety is the responsibility of operative and not just a function of management. Managers/Supervisors have specific duties and responsibilities to comply with the letter and the spirit of company our policy. However, the Health & Safety of our employees and of other people is an area in which ALL employees have obligations and responsibilities. The company actively promotes the involvement of all employees in safety management. In accordance with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992, the Company will: 

A.        Carry out suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments.
B.         Investigate accidents and near “hits” in order to determine their causes and take action to prevent a recurrence. In order to provide:                                    
          
a)        Safe plant and equipment
          
b)        Safe place of work
          
c)        Safe systems of work 


Adequate supervision, training, instruction and Information to ensure that this policy is effective we will:                                   

a)         Review it annually, or on significant changes in our business
 
b)         Make any such changes known to our employees 
c)         Maintain procedures for communication and consultation between all levels of staff on Health & Safety matters
